About Us

I love to cook and Ryan loves football, so we thought we would combine the two.  We have a wonderful dog, who also loves football and cooking (well we think he does – he at least loves that there are people around to pet him and food galore!).  That pretty much sums it up.

Oh and the blog name – I guess I should explain that. I have an amazing boyfriend (that would be you Ryan).  He brings me skittles and laffy taffy when I am sad.  He thinks my jokes are funny (they aren’t so that is saying a lot).  He puts up with me dressing Murphy up and he actually kind of likes the bow ties. And he doesn’t think it is crazy when I pretend to be the Hulk.  And during non-football times he even watches reality television (a guilty pleasure of mine) with me.  He won’t admit it, but I bet that deep down somewhere he likes reality television. The only problem is that during football season, I am most definitely the other woman, and football is his one true love.  The only night night not claimed by football is usually Tuesday night, and that is where we get the name.

And here is a picture of my wonderful boys:

You’re welcome, and thank you! I think I may have to try the Bourbon Chili recipe. I am on a chili cooking adventure, so I have been looking at other blogs for chili ideas. I have tried a lot of beer in chili, but never bourbon!

When I switched to veggies, a terrifying thought ran through my head: how in the heck am I going to survive without chicken wings and chilli!?! So far I’ve got the chilli down. This recipe was a total experiment so let me know how it turns out for you.
